Unfortunately, my experience with this doctor and office was not a positive one and I can't believe I am writing this review because of it... Where do I begin? As a migraine sufferer, I went to see this recommended neurologist from my amazing primary care doctor. When I met with Dr. Sethi, he was pleasant enough and we decided to try a new medication for the my migraines. Prior to this new medication, I was using something that did help but I was more than willing to try something different. When a migraine hit, the new medication did not work at all. The next day, I sent an email to the doctor but never received a reply from either him or his receptionists. After a day of not receiving any replies to my initial e-mail, I called the office and asked if Dr. Sethi received my message and the staff confirmed he did. I asked if I could get a different medication because the one he prescribed did not have any effect and I was concerned with getting another migraine (I get em from the radical changes in weather). After waiting another day, I was prescribed a new medication. Again, I had to follow-up with the office because no one replied to me via e-mail despite an e-mail system being in place for this sort of situation. I mean, it's 2017. Communication between a patient and him or her, and his/her staff should be seamless and very easy. A few days later, with a new prescription in-hand ... that Sunday night, as I waited for Game of Thrones to start, naturally, I got a migraine because a cold front moved into the region. tried this new medication but again, had no effect despite taking it and going to bed early. When I woke up the next Monday, after a night of no sleep, I had to call out of work because of the headache. I called Dr. Sethi first thing in the morning hoping for a new medication because of the headache... despite leaving a message with the receptionist that I was suffering from a painful migraine and would like to get a new script ASAP, I had to wait ALL DAY (around 4:30 pm) for Dr. Sethi to send in something new. OKAY - so that new prescription did nothing as well ... I went ahead and called the office to relay my thoughts on the matter the following morning but nobody was answering. I called all day, in 20 minute intervals, but no one answered. Hmmm ... perhaps it's a day off in the office? Since I live in walking distance to the office, I decided to stop by to personally request, yet again, a new medication for my migraines. I went by the office on the way home that Friday, and asked if the phones were working? Pattie told me they were and apologized that I was not able to get a call through. I get it - I know what it's like to deal with patients and annoying people, so seriously, no a big deal. Must have been some weird bug in the phone lines. Things happen and I was not mad at all. I then relayed the message that I need something new for my migraines. Pattie took down my message for Dr. Sethi ... I requested a medication that I do know works for me. I then asked/requested that it be sent in that evening. And in case the doctor cannot accommodate my request, I would like to hear one way or the other THAT DAY. Pattie told me that I should hear one way or the other after 4 pm. NOPE. Crickets on that phone call. Nobody called to let me know either way. I was mad, annoyed, and just plain dumb-struck that nobody called me with an answer ... I went ahead and called the doctor on-call and left a voicemail requesting the medication and again, I just wanted a follow-up. ONCE AGAIN, despite leaving a message on the emergency voicemail an on-call service, I did NOT receive a call-back! The following morning, I called to say I am taking my business elsewhere. How frustrating and now I feel like the weirdo ... I don't want to be that guy. But c'mon, shouldn't be this hard for communicating between a doctor and patient. Be very weary and on-guard if you decide to take on this doctor for treatment.
